This is the first painting where I let things become pretty abstract, and I’m happy with that process. It started from a photo ; I did a study on paper (see second picture below), and then let loose. I wanted to capture the energy of summer and wild water, and the love I have for the Cevennes. The painting is not for sale, but the study is.
